Learning About Courageous Conversations with The Glasers

With another stellar year coming to an end, EO West Michigan decided to go out with a bang and feature world renowned speakers, Peter and Susan Glaser for our last learning event of the calendar year. For this event, the Glasers presented a workshop that was open to members, sponsors and spouses alike. The theme of the event was courageous conversations and how best to have them.

The event had a wonderful turnout and showed many productive conversations across the chapter. Along with Peter and Susan’s roleplaying, attendees were asked to partake in the activities. As an added twist, they were asked to pair up with whoever they knew least to help facilitate a more honest conversation. From there, each attendee was asked to focus on a real life situation that needed to be resolved and the pairs worked through the ‘courageous conversation’ that needed to be had.

At the end of the event, many of the event’s attendees reported being able to solve a communication issue at hand while also talking some useful tools onto their future ventures, both business and personal.
